BRASS VICTORIAN LOOPED WIRE FRAME This great Victorian Brass Picture Frame features decorative loops made from wire that travels around the rectangular center. Each corner is decorated by three brass circular hollow half balls. It was a common practice of this period to weave ribbon through the loops as a decorative effect. The frame is English and dates to the 1880's. The overall dimensions of the frame 9 1/2 inches long by 7 inches wide. The photo section is 6 1/4 inches long by 4 inches wide.
